School Uniform Guidelines

We understand the guidelines are precise, however this is to keep a level playing field for all students and parents and is not in an effort to be unreasonably strict.  We LOVE our families and do not want something as simple as a pair of shoes to come between our families, faculty, or students and their relationships! In the spirit of community, we require that everyone adhere to the below guidelines.

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Summit Classical Academy teaches all classes from a biblical worldview and uses that framework as the way to understand everything. Subjects are integrated around the truth that God is the Creator of all that exists, and therefore all knowledge is interrelated and points back to Him.

As described by the Association of Classical Christian Schools, a Classical curriculum “incorporates methods based on natural phases of student development, cultivates the seven Christian Virtues, trains student reasoning through the Trivium (Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric), and interacts with the historical Great Books.”

VOLUNTEER OVERVIEW

We have many ways for you to get involved, and we can always use your help!

Parent Handbook

The purpose of the Parent/Student Handbook is to provide to all parents, students, members of the faculty and staff, and those inquiring about Summit Classical Academy a concise presentation of the mission, philosophy, policies and practices of Summit Classical Academy. The Handbook provides students and their parents a set of guidelines for citizenship and behavior in and around Summit Classical Academy. We recognize that the handbook is imperfect and silent on some issues which may arise. In cases of disagreement about a particular interpretation, the Head of School and the Board of Directors of Summit Classical Academy will render decisions that they deem fair to both the students and the school.
