High School Debate Tournament

Our high school students have been learning about sound argumentation and effective debate techniques as they deepen their understanding of rhetoric. This month, they will have the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned by participating in a debate tournament with students from other schools.  This year’s debate resolution is: “Resolved: Social media is harmful to the learning and development of children.” Students are preparing to argue both in the affirmative and the negative.
